He was the banker behind the tailor-made portfolios for super rich clients at Coutts private bank. Now he's joined Lombard Odier at its London office.

Lombard Odier, the Geneva-based private bank, appointed Mike Edlinger as senior portfolio manager at its London branch, the company said in a statement on Monday. He will support the 300 bankers at the buy-side private client business in producing bespoke investment solutions for ultra high net worth customers.

Veteran of Coutts & Co

Edlinger spent two decades at Coutts & Co, the Royal Bank of Scotland unit, leading the portfolio management for the super rich, according to Lombard Odier.

He was also a member of the investment committee at the private bank, which was taken over by Union Bancaire Privée (UBP) of Geneva in March 2015.
