The Swiss consumer credit and leasing firm cashgate has appointed a new chief executive. The head of sales at Aduno payment services company is taking charge.

Helga Dancke has decided to go into retirement after serving eight years as chief executive officer of cashgate. The manager will hand over responsibility at the end of April 2017, the company said in a statement today.

Cashgate appointed Daniel Bodmer to succeed Dancke in the position. Bodmer, 52, is head of sales at Aduno, the owner of cashgate. He has been a member of the executive committee since 2013. Previously, he used to work as head of marketing and sales at Also Switzerland.

Cashgate specializes in consumer credits and leasing. She is owned by Aduno, which in turn is a company of Swiss retail banks.
