Rothschild Bank Switzerland has appointed a new head of asset management. The predecessor has decided to accept a new job at another company.

Rothschild Bank named Stephanie de Saint-Marcq (Geake) as its new head of asset management in Switzerland, the company said in a statement today. She will report to Laurent Gagnebin, the chief executive officer of the bank.

De Saint-Marcq joined Rothschild Asset Management in 2013. She will be in charge of the business with institutional clients, fund brokers and financial intermediaries in Switzerland. Her office is located in Geneva.

Microfinancing Expert

The banker has a degree in economics from University of Edinburgh and previously worked as an analyst at Italy’s Microfinanza Rating as well as a project manager at World Microfinance Forum Geneva.

De Saint-Marcq replaces Gil Platteau, who had been head of Swiss asset management since 2013. He has decided to leave the company and to assume a new position at a company outside the Rothschild Group.
