Another private banker is leaving EFG International following the integration of Banca della Svizzera Italiana, or BSI.
Zurich-based private bank EFG International named a new head for Latin America, the firm said in a statement on Friday. Marcelo Coscarelli (pictured below) will take on the role effective immediately.
He replaces Gerald Robert, who is leaving EFG. Coscarelli was hired from Citibank Latin America in January.
While Robert is one of five top executives from BSI who initially found a spot in the newly-merged bank's top management, he appears to have lost out to the new joiner, whose new expanded role will be overall head of Americas.
Of the original five BSI top executives to make it into EFG's C-Suite, two including Robert and Renato Santi have already left the bank, as finews.com reported in March (in German).
