Kepler Cheuvreux, which provides advisory services to the banking industry, has hired three new corporate finance experts for its Zurich-based team.

Kepler Cheuvreux, which was founded as the equity brokerage business of Julius Baer 20 years ago, has hired Maroan Maizar, Daniel Schmidt Badoux and Gaël Jacquemettaz. All three have broad national and international experience and will be charged to advise companies in corporate finance affairs, the company said today.

Vast Experience

Maizar, until the end of 2016, was responsible for the capital market and treasury solutions business at Deutsche Bank in Zurich. He also has a past at Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse.

Schmidt Badoux has more than two decades of experience in corporate and investment banking. He worked for Citi, UBS and Deutsche Bank.

Jacquemettaz most recently was at UBS leverage finance in New York. He previously worked for Switzerland's biggest bank at its Zurich offices, in the structured finance division.
