Vaudoise insurance company has founded its own asset management division as a holding company following the acquisition of two wealth management firms.
Vaudoise Assurances completed the acquisition of Berninvest and Dr. Meyer Asset Management on July 1, 2017, the company said in statement today. The insurer announced the takeover on March 27.
Vaudoise has decided to rename Dr. Meyer Asset Management into Vaudoise Investment Solutions. Nunzio Lo Chiatto, the CEO of the two acquired companies, will remain in charge of the two units. The insurer has decided to retain all employees and keep the offices in Bern.

Berninvest and Vaudoise Investment Solutions are owned by Vaudoise Asset Management, which was founded by the insurer as a consequence of the acquisitions.
