Swiss Asset Manager GAM has named a new head for its operation in Japan. She has previously been working for Swiss banks.

GAM said on Monday it has appointed Shizu Kishimoto, who has previously worked for UBS and Credit Suisse, as head of its Tokyo office. There she will report to Rossen Djounov, responsible for the asset manager’s Asian business since May, as finews.ch has reported.

Kishimoto joins GAM from Schroders Investment Management Japan, where she managed their intermediaries business. Before that she worked for several years at BNY Mellon Asset Management, as well as for UBS and Credit Suisse.
