Frank Hoener will take over as risk chief in Switzerland as well as for UBS' retail and corporate bank, after Damian Vogel clinched the risk job in the wider private bank. Hoener is also a UBS veteran – 23 years – who is currently responsible for commodity trade financing as well as corporate finance with the Swiss bank's company and institutional clients.

UBS Veterans

UBS will split its corporate and institutional business in Switzerland, CIC, into two: a segments arm is to be led by Alain Conte while a products and services area goes to Andy Kollegger.

Conte, a nearly 40-year veteran of UBS, will also head up UBS' real estate arm, institutional clients, commodity and trade finance, as well as corporate clients. Kollegger, a 30-year veteran, is currently head of international and transaction services within the CIC unit, and will add its multi-channel center, corporate finance, pricing and analytics to his mandate.
