Geneva-based Banque Cramer appointed a new chief financial and chief operating officer. The new CFO is one of Switzerland’s rare female top banking executives.

The private bank named Elvan Cetinel-Walker chief financial officer and Olivier Taillard COO, Cramer said in a statement today. Elvan and Olivier will report to Chief Executive Cédric Anker.

Cetinel-Walker started her career in Istanbul. She joined Garantie Bank Group in 2000 and helped setting up the private banking business in Geneva. She worked as CFO and chief risk officer for Banque Diamantaire and later at IDB Bank, before joining Cramer in 2016.

Taillard also joined Cramer in 2016, after starting out at Credit Suisse in 1987. He later worked for Banque de Financement et d’Investissement and for Dresdner Bank in Geneva. In 2004, Taillard joined HSBC Private Bank Switzerland as head business project management. In 2007, Julius Baer appointed the banker as COO for French-speaking Switzerland and later as head of human resources Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa.
