Leonteq could apparently face charges in connection with fees and provisions, and the derivatives specialist has now commented on the accusations.

Zurich-based Leonteq has been informed by the British asset manager Old Mutual International (OMI) that it, together with other parties, has submitted an application to the High Court on the Isle of Man to lodge a charge, Leonteq said on Friday. The application is in connection with fees and provisions related to certain transactions.

Leonteq Rejects Accusations

The submission of such an application is the first step for implementing legal procedures on the British Isle of Man. Up until now Leonteq has received no formal notice of such an application, it said Friday.

Leonteq rejects all the claims made in the matter and said it will defend its position in any court case, it added.
