French asset management giant Lyxor is undertaking a reshuffle at the ETF business in Switzerland. The company is promoting its figurehead to take on further responsibilities.

Roland Fischer is the new head of the business with exchange-traded funds in German-speaking Switzerland and Liechtenstein. He is responsible for institutional and private investors alike, according to a statement from Lyxor released on Monday.

So far, Fischer had been in charge of the business with institutional clients in Switzerland, including private banks, family offices and wealth managers in Germany and Austria.

Lyxor aims to expand the business with wealth management clients in the German-speaking regions of Europe.
