A Swiss senior manager at troubled Deutsche Bank is leaving his post to join a bank far away from home.

Deutsche Bank will be looking for a new head of IT: Pascal Boillat is leaving, a little more than a year after being appointed to the post in March 2017. The Swiss will start at Commonwealth Bank of Australia on October 1, 2018, Germany’s «Private Banking Magazin» reported.

Boillat started in 2016 at Germany’s biggest bank, working as head of IT at the corporate and investment banking unit. He previously had been a manager at Fannie Mae and Citigroup.

A few weeks ago, Deutsche appointed Frank Kuhnke as chief operating officer. Boillat is reporting to Kuhnke after his previous boss, Kim Hammonds, left the bank in April, having said that the bank was the most dysfunctional company she had ever worked for.
