Credit Suisse hired a team of four bankers from a rival Swiss bank for its Singapore office to take care of wealthy Indonesian clients.

Switzerland’s second-largest bank Credit Suisse hired Heinz Puth and three of his colleagues from Julius Baer private bank, according to a report from news wire «Bloomberg». Based in Singapore, the team will focus on rich people from Indonesia. «Bloomberg» cited an unidentified person familiar with the hire.

The hiring of Puth and his colleagues mirrors the move of David Lim. Credit Suisse in May announced that the veteran Asian private banker was rejoining the bank as vice chairman private banking in Southeast Asia, as finews.asia also reported.

Lim had worked for Julius Baer but left after former Asia Chief Executive Tom Meier relocated to Switzerland. Julius Baer and Credit Suisse didn’t comment on the «Bloomberg» report.
