An ex-UBS manager with a long history in Asian banking is taking charge of the institutional business in the EMEA region at T. Rowe Price.

U.S. wealth manager T. Rowe Price appointed Scott Keller as head of global investment management services, according to a release on Monday. He will assume his new position in 2019.

Keller, born and trained in the U.S., spent almost a decade working in Europe before his relocation to Asia, where he spent a further 13 years. After 17 years at UBS, Keller in 2014 joined T. Rowe Price . At Switzerland’s No. 1, he had been head of wealth and asset management in Europe and Asia.

Asia Appointments

Keller currently is head of global investment management services Asia Pacific and part of the senior management of T. Rowe Price. He will work from London and continue to report to Robert Higginbotham.

Nick Trueman will replace Keller as head of global investment management services Asia Pacific. He currently is head of Asia ex Japan institutional business and member of the Asia Pacific executive committee. He has 17 years of experience in investment banking and has spent the last ten at T. Rowe Price.

Elsie Chan, head of global investment management services Asia ex Japan intermediaries will take over as head of the institutional and intermediaries business in Asia ex Japan.
