Swiss politician and IT businessman Rudolf Noser has been selected for a seat on the board of one of Switzerland’s foremost fintech companies.

Crealogix, a Swiss software company, proposes Rudolf Noser to be elected as a new member of its board, according to a statement on Thursday. If elected, he will replace Jean-Claude Philipona, who will step down from his post at the end of October.

Noser is the co-founder and owner of Noser Group, a Swiss IT firm with more than two decades in the market. The businessman was chairman of ICTswitzerland until 2017, the industry association for ICT firms.

When Noser was elected to the regional chamber of the national parliament for his Radical Party, he passed on the operative responsibilities of the company, but remained a member of the board. Noser Management is an important shareholder of Crealogix.
