Avaloq identified customer satisfaction as the key component enabling future growth of its business. The Swiss banking software provider has hired a former IT manager from Credit Suisse for that purpose.

Michael Pahlke was appointed as chief service delivery officer (CSDO) at Avaloq and member of the executive board, according to a statement on Thursday. He will work to expand the company’s operative and technical abilities as it bids to guarantee customer satisfaction.

Pahlke starts in his new role on November 1 and will report to Juerg Hunziker, the CEO of Avaloq. He replaces Brian Hurdis, who held the role ad interim and will remain at the company’s disposal as an adviser.

Pahlke was working for Credit Suisse in the past years. In the rank of a managing director, Pahlke was head of several solution delivery units in technology and operations across several divisions. His last job at the bank was IT boss in wealth management.
