UBS filled the vacant position at the Munich office. The new head of office has been with the bank for 14 years already.

Florian GorlichSwitzerland’s largest bank appointed Florian Goerlich (pictured left) as new head of its branch in Munich. The banker, 36, will take up his job at the beginning of 2019, according to a report by «Private Banking Magazin». Goerlich replaces Manfred Jache and will also be in charge of the region South/East of Germany. He was Jache’s deputy.

Jache had managed the branch ad interim after Christian Janas had left UBS in the summer to join DJE Kapital. UBS has reduced the number of branches in Germany in the past years and reshuffled the regions.
