Hypothekarbank Lenzburg is widening its offering of cryptocurrency and blockchain services. The Swiss regional lender is tapping a start-up to do so.

Hypothekarbank Lenzburg will begin cooperating with Tokensuisse, a Swiss-based start-up, in a bid to expand its offering of cryptocurrency and blockchain services, the Lenzburg-based bank said in a statement on Monday.

Under CEO Marianne Wildi, a former programmer, mid-sized «Hypi» has ventured from its roots in retail banking and mortgage lending to make a name for its keen interest in digital solutions. Last year, Wildi opened the bank up to crypto firms.

The bank, which told finews.com in January that it plans to widen its current offering, said the cooperation will mean it can round out the services it offers. Tokensuisse was founded two years ago by Alain Kunz as a coin investment adviser. The Zug-based start-up said it launched the first global multi-crypto asset certificate.
