Avaloq, the Swiss banking software specialist, launched a platform that will help fintechs make their products more easily available for banks.

The platform – avaloq.one – presented by Avaloq on Tuesday has open application program interfaces (APIs) which financial technology firms can use to make their products available to the industry, the company said.

Avaloq aims to present a range of the best fintech firms in Switzerland, the company added. Banks that are signed up to the system won’t have to introduce each of the products individually but can access those directly via the platform.

Avaloq, which was founded by Francisco Fernandez, is a first-generation fintech. Fernandez handed over his operative responsibilities to Juerg Hunziker in 2017 with a brief to accelerate the rate of growth after a slowdown.
