Crealogix, a Zurich-based fintech, has revamped its business and boosted the sales side of company’s structure. The firm hired a private banking and digital payments expert for the tasks enhanced by the restructuring.

Crealogix will focus on retail banking, private banking and corporate banking and created the position of head of sales private banking. Crealogix hired René Raabe for the job, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

Raabe was sales director at Avalog before joining Crealogix, responsible for widening the customer base in Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Austria. Previously, he was managing director and head family office services at J. Safra Sarasin.

Crealogix also appointed Michael Niederjohann as head of digital payment. He also started on May 1. Niederjohann previously worked as a member of the executive of Arcplace, a Swiss IT service provider in document and data management. He also spent six years at Swisscard, the credit card firm owned by Credit Suisse.

Niederjohann will enhance the company’s B2C strategy and to boost sales and marketing of soft- and hardware payment products. Payeye, one of the products of Crealogix, will be able to scan, control and transmit QR codes to online banking tools.
