2. For Men: Well-Kempt!
Clean-shaven is no longer the only way to go, but beards should still be tidy and groomed – aim for «Hipster Barista» rather than «Hell's Angel». For men, the big conundrum is to wear a tie or not. The suit-tie-shirt-cufflinks uniform is still pretty standard on large parts of Paradeplatz (don’t forget a careful tie knot). However, the tech sector’s influence on finance means more people are showing up in more casual, but still fashionable, attire. As with women, have a lint roller handy to catch errant hair or dandruff.
