Vontobel has hired two relationship managers for its asset management team in the U.S. The private bank has also adjusted the way it is selling its services on the continent.

Vontobel Asset Management added Jeff Barrow and Brian Engel to their sales team in the U.S, according to a statement released by the company on Tuesday.

Barrow will devote his time to the Southeast of the U.S., while Engel signs responsible for the Midwest, the Zurich-based private bank said.

Barrow and Engel are reporting to Amit Mukadam, head of institutional distribution in North America. Together, they have more than three decades of sales experiences.

Canada Team

Vontobel also said it had adjusted the distribution channels in North America as it bids to better serve institutional investors.

It has three teams available for institutional clients. One provides a channel for insurance clients, one is a special consultant-relations team with a focus on fixed income products and the third is dedicated to clients in Canada.
