Swiss wealth manager Marcuard Heritage is expanding its Russian business with the hire of an ex-Banque Havilland and Credit Suisse banker, finews.com has learned. 

Marcuard Heritage Group is hiring Nikolai «Nick» Jelev for its eastern Europe team in Zurich, a spokesman for the Swiss wealth manager confirmed to finews.com. Jelev is the fourth client adviser to join Marcuard this year.

Jelev is a Russia veteran who most recently ran Banque Havilland's Russia business in Zurich and London. Previously, he worked for Credit Suisse in Luxembourg and Moscow.

Marcuard is an asset and wealth manager with an international presence which also offers fiduciary services through its ties to Swisspartners. Institutional asset manager Alpinum Investment Management also belongs to the group.
