Zurich insurance company in London is presenting its new three-year plan. One of the goals is a double-digit return on equity.

At Zurich’s investor day in London, Chief Executive Mario Greco will present the targets the insurer has set itself for the years from 2020 through 2022.

Zurich aims for a return on equity after tax of 14 percent, having already reached and exceeded the targets set for the past three years. The insurer also aims for organic growth of earnings per share of 5 percent.

Focus on Applications, Products

The company aims to maintain its current dividend policy based on sustainable earnings growth targeting a payout of about 75 percent.

Zurich said it will now shift its focus and investments to applications and products that will enhance the customer experience: «Customers increasingly live within connected ecosystems, regularly interacting with providers.» Among Zurich’s new offerings will be smart services for business and home protection, health programs and travel insurance.
