One of Liechtenstein’s largest independent wealth manager has widened its service portfolio through a change of license.

Vaduz-based IMT Asset Management is a provider of asset management and investment-controlling services to institutional and private clients since 1999. It is part of the IMT group, which was founded 35 years ago.

IMT Asset Management in recent years acknowledge the value of investment funds as cost-efficient and professional structures for wealthy families and entrepreneurs. The company therefore sought and received a license as an alternative investment fund manager from the financial regulator in Liechtenstein.

The license allows IMT Asset Management to provide additional services in the establishment and administration of investment funds.

Broader Range of Services

Upon receipt of the new license, the company handed back the license it held in keeping with the wealth management laws of the principality. The range of services it now provides has thus broadened.

The company is managing about 1.6 billion Swiss francs ($1.6 billion) for its clients, invested in traditional and alternative asset classes. It is one of Liechtenstein’s larger independent asset managers.
