German exchange expert Harald Schnabel is returning to Swiss crowdlending platform Cashare, which he had left because of his mandate at a local stock exchange.

Harald Schnabel is returning to the advisory board of Cashare after two years as head of BX Swiss, according to a statement released by the crowdlending platform.

The German investment banker and stock exchange expert had left BX Swiss at the end of 2019, having repositioned the Bern exchange.

Help With Institutional Investors

He had left the advisory board of Cashare as he assumed the position as head of the Bern stock exchange, which belongs to the exchange of Stuttgart. Lucas Bruggeman replaced Schnabel as head of BX Swiss at the beginning of February, 2019.

Cashare, which was founded in 2008 and is based in Huenenberg, boasts some 36,600 users and an aggregate demand for loans worth 1 billion Swiss francs ($1.02 billion). Schnabel was reappointed to help with institutional investors and the further growth strategy.
