Bank Syz faces major challenges and hopes to grow its business going forward. Syz has approached a Danish top banker who will lend her experience to the  company as it moves into this next phase of its development.

Marlene Noergaard Carolus has been appointed to the boards of Syz Group and Banque Syz, where she succeeds Danish entrepreneur Casper Kirk Johansen. Noergaard Carolus will represent Johansen’s interest as shareholder as well as those of clients in the Nordic region, the company said in a statement on Friday.

Noergaard Carolus is an experienced investment professional and a top influential businesswoman in her native Denmark, having served on the executive board of Danske Bank International. She is the CEO of Danish fintech Mybanker.

Noergaard Carolus brings along a vast knowledge in business transformation, expansion and digitization. She has more than three decades of  experience in the investment industry, having held positions in portfolio management, sales and business development.
