Swiss bank Credit Suisse has appointed a new head of the business in Israel. The banker spent the last few years managing the private-banking clients in the country.

Credit Suisse has put Hila Goldenberg (pictured below) in charge of its operations in Israel. She replaces Doron Averbuch, who held the job for almost two decades.

Ex-Competition Commission and Ex-Citigroup

Goldenberg joined Credit Suisse in 2017 as head of private banking in Tel Aviv, according to a report by «Reuters». Her last job before joining Credit Suisse was head of UHNW-clients at arch-rival UBS in Israel.

She began her banking career after the turn of the century, when she swapped her position at the competition commission of Isreal with a job at Citigroup. There, she took over the branch in Tel Aviv.
