Swiss wealth manager Quaero Capital is adding a sales expert to its team in the German-speaking region as its aims to boost its business.
Quaero Capital, which is based in Geneva, has hired Daniel Ritz as head of business development in the German-speaking region of Switzerland, according to a statement. He will be responsible for the sales side of the company’s investment strategy with institutional investors and distribution clients.
Before joining Quaero Capital, Ritz worked as institutional sales and relationship manager at Lykke, the fintech firm. Previously, he was with Unigestion and Clariden Leu.
Ritz has more than three decades of experience in institutional asset management. He has an economics degree from University of St. Gallen and an MBA from University of Rochester (New York). He furthermore is a chartered financial analyst and member of the board of directors of CFA Society Switzerland.
