Swiss crypto- and blockchain-investor CV VC has another political celebrity added to its ranks: an ex-finance minister of Germany.
Crypto Valley Venture Capital (CV VC), an investor in crypto and blockchain startups, has appointed Philipp Roesler as the new chairman of its advisory board, according to a statement.
Roesler, who was head of the German Free Democrats (FDP) and finance minister under Chancellor Angela Merkel from 2011 through 2013, aims to make CV VC a company with a global reach and make it a known brand in Asia. CV VC also wants to add two more experts to the advisory board.
Johann Schneider-Ammann, the former Swiss finance minister and Anne Berner, a former minister of transport and communication in Finland, are members of the board of directors. Alex Wassmer is the chairman.
