Patrimonium is bolstering its activities in Zurich under Reto Schwager, the ex-head of Schroders boutique Adveq.

The Swiss asset manager is expanding a Zurich-based team lead by Reto Schwager with two new hires for a climate infrastructure program tailored to qualified investors, it said in a statement on Wednesday. Schwager previously ran Schroder Adveq, a private equity boutique.

Patrimonium is hiring investment specialists Corneliu Dehelean (pictured below) and Bigna Berchtold to manage the program. Both join from EBG Investment Solutions, which was spun out of Credit Suisse in 2008 and established itself as an independent specialist for cost-effective solutions in alternative and sustainable investments.

Berchtold has more than ten years of experience in sustainable infrastructure investments in private as well as public markets. Dehelean has over 12 years of experience in private market investments.

Founded in 2007 by Christoph Syz, Daniel Heine, and Stephane Bonvin, Patrimonium employs more than 50 people and manages 3.2 billion Swiss francs ($3.5 billion).
