The Swiss bank's mortgage platform Key4 is partnering with a Swiss-based website to compare financial services.
The Zurich-based bank said it will offer Key4's services through Financescout24, an online marketplace in Switzerland, in a statement on Monday. The move paves the way for consumers who aren't clients of UBS to use the mortgage platform.
«The partnership with FinanceScout24 is the next logical step in the expansion of our ecosystem and part of our long-term strategy to become market leader in the platform business,» Martha Boeckenfeld, UBS' head of platforms in Switzerland, said.
She has overseen a rapid push into other cooperations including insurance in recent months. FinanceScout24 is a website allowing consumers compare and take out mortgages, insurance, and consumer loans.
