Investment start-up Kaspar& is tapping the former head of Swiss payments firm Twint for its board. It also appointed Hypothekarbank Lenzburg as its custodian bank.

Kaspar&'s first fundraising round is concluded, and now the nine-month-old start-up wants to gain experience with family and friends as clientele. It is appointing Thierry Kneissler, who ran Swiss bank-backed payments provider Twint until two years ago, to its board.

Founded by students of Zurich's ETH and the University of St. Gallen, Kaspar& wants to offer an app making investing accessible for a broad population. The start-up appointed Hypothekarbank Lenzburg, a local lender, as its custodian.
