The banking group is putting most of its funds under its sustainability brand Futura and rolling them out digitally.

From the beginning of July, the proportion of Raiffeisen funds under the bank’s Futura brand will rise to over 95 percent from 73 percent now, the cooperative banking group said Tuesday.

A recent study by industry group Swiss Sustainable Finance showed the proportion of sustainable funds in the total volume of the Swiss funds market has now crossed the 50 percent threshold, hitting 52 percent.

Digitization Ahead

Raiffeisen added that its sustainable funds are being digitized. Clients have been able to invest in a sustainability-oriented portfolio using the Rio virtual advisor. The bank is also planning to allow Rio users to invest in green energy funds from this summer.

Raiffeisen launched its first sustainable products under the Futura brand 20 years ago.
