Credit Suisse made a $400 million cash distribution on Friday to investors in its Greensill funds, in line with its announcement on July 29.

Credit Suisse will Tuesday repay some of the money from the closed Greensill supply chain funds, Credit Suisse Asset Management said on its website Friday.

A relevant portion of the money will be paid to the investors in the bank’s «Virtuoso SICAV-SIF» funds. Credit Suisse’s four Virtuoso SICAV-SIF funds invested in the supply chain funds.

At the beginning of March, the illiquid parts of the Virtuoso funds were separated and put into the so-called «side pockets».

Around 60 Percent Repaid

Depending on the fund, $35.42, $35.40 or 35.03 euros ($41.46) per share will be paid out to the Virtuoso funds.

CS  last week announced the payment of $400 million to investors in the Greensill funds. This means the bank has recovered $5.9 billion out of the total of $10.1 billion invested in the funds.
