Raiffeisen's head of product and services is leaving, after a stint of just 18 months.

Kathrin Wehrli is leaving her role in Raiffeisen's top management for personal reasons, the St. Gallen-based lender said in a statement (in German) on Wednesday. A veteran Credit Suisse executive, she had defected last March to become Raiffeisen's head of products and services, one of just two women in the domestic bank's eight-person top management.

She is the second top executive to leave Raiffeisen in short order, following the departure by year end of corporate clients head Urs Gauch, as disclosed in July. Wehrli will be temporarily replaced by Roland Altwegg, Raiffeisen said.

Wehrli had launched a strategic partnership between the bank and Mobiliar, a Swiss insurer which – like Raiffeisen – is also cooperatively organized. The Swiss banker, previously with Boston Consulting Group, was also instrumental in launching digital wealth adviser Rio with Raiffeisen, the bank said.
