As Switzerland’s second-largest bank reorganizes itself, it is naming heads for top positions in its investment banking advisory business.

The Swiss bank is appointing Oliver Tucker to lead its investment banking advisory (IBA) team in the UK, the bank said in an emailed statement.

Tucker, who previously worked as a managing director at Nomura, will become a managing director.

The bank recently appointed Philippe Guez as head of IBA in France. Tucker joined the bank from Atlas Financial Solutions, where he was a partner.

Both will report to European IBA co-heads Stefan Gratzer and Vincenzo De Falco, the statement says.

The department serves as a link between private and investment banking. The current reshuffle corresponds with a push to drive business within the unit forward. Last fall, the business area was expanded in Italy.
