The Swiss asset manager specialized in sustainable investments has turned to a United Nations agency for its latest hire.

Zurich-based ESG-AM is hiring Paula Krol as an ESG expert and Susanne Kundert as a portfolio manager, it said in an emailed statement.

Krol (picture above) joins the asset manager from the International Labour Organization where she was involved in projects focused on improving labor conditions as well as human rights and gender equality.

Kundert (picture below) previously worked at Zuercher Kantonalbank's Swisscanto Invest, as head of credit specialties in fixed income. She has been named a co-founding partner at the asset manager, according to her LinkedIn profile.

The asset manager which received a Finma license last year, currently manages 150 million Swiss francs in assets, according to its website.  It serves banks, professional pension funds, family offices and fund of funds.
