Société Générale has a target of reaching at least 30 percent women within management by 2023. Its private banking business in Switzerland and Europe are following up on that promise with two new appointments.

Société Générale Private Banking Switzerland (SGPBS) is appointing Tûyet-Nhung Krummenacher as chief financial officer and member of the executive committee, and Aurélie Maillard as head of private equity, it said in an emailed statement Thursday. Both appointments are effective immediately.

Based in Geneva, Tûyet-Nhung Krummenacher will ensure the production, steering and financial management of SGPBS and support the group's private bank in Switzerland in its 2022-2026 strategic development to serve its clients better.

Krummenacher will report to CEO of SGPBS Franck Bonin.
