Zug-based private markets firm Partners Group has launched a private wealth business unit, formalizing its private wealth fundraising.

Partners Group continues to expand its private market offerings for investors, formalizing its private wealth fundraising into a new business unit, the Zug-based firm said in a statement Wednesday.

Overall, the firm has $131 billion in assets under management, of which $37 billion is in the private wealth business unit. It will be led by Robert Collins who is a partner in the firm, and managing director Christian Wicklein who will cover the Americas, Europe, and APAC, respectively. Henry Chui, based in Singapore, heads the team in Asia.

Private Market Access

Partners Group works with banks and wealth managers, among others, to provide customized access to private markets. It also has long-standing relationships with global financial institutions such as UBS, as finews.com reported.
