With a new US partner, Swiss fintech GenTwo expands its investment universe to include digital assets for professional investors.

GenTwo Digital, the subsidiary of Zug-based GenTwo, is partnering with Coinbase, an exchange-traded cryptocurrency platform, according to a statement Thursday.

The partnership allows GenTwo Digital to expand its investment universe to include digital assets for professional investors. All of Coinbase's crypto assets will be packaged into bankable financial investment products, enabling intermediaries to issue innovative certificates such as AMCs (Actively Management Certificates).

Secure Access

Now, any financial intermediary can create white-label investment products in collaboration with GenTwo Digital and execute them through Coinbase's platform.

«Through this partnership, GenTwo and Coinbase are not only providing a secure institutional gateway to crypto assets but also helping GenTwo to fulfill our mission of expanding the investment universe while creating a more open financial system for the world,» said GenTwo Digital managing partner Lucas A. Ereth.
