Experienced banker Dagmar Kamber Borens took on additional leadership responsibilities at State Street to start the year.

Dagmar Kamber Borens, senior vice president and country head of Switzerland at US financial group State Street), is being given additional responsibilities, according to a statement Tuesday. She assumed responsibility for the German custodian banking business and overall management of the investor services business for the Netherlands, Austria, and the Nordic countries earlier this month. In addition to those responsibilities, she is a member of the executive management board of State Street Bank International (SSBI).

She reports to Andreas Przewloka, chief executive officer of State Street Bank International, succeeding Andreas Niklaus, who is leaving State Street to pursue other opportunities, the statement added.

Two Decades at Swiss Banks

Kamber Borens brings more than two decades of global banking experience to her expanded role. Before joining State Street, she was the chief operating officer of Credit Suisse's Swiss Universal Bank, responsible for strategy, IT/operations, digitalization, banking products, and marketing.

Before that, she spent 17 years at UBS, where she held several leadership positions, including Group CFO for the Asia Pacific region based in Singapore.
