UBS announces more leadership changes to its wealth management business, finews.asia has learned, including the appointment of senior ex-Credit Suisse bankers in the region.

UBS has announced a series of leadership changes within its global wealth management (GWM) business, according to an internal memo seen by finews.asia.

This includes the appointment of five ex-Credit Suisse bankers to senior roles in the Asia Pacific region.

Singapore, Hong Kong

In Singapore, the bank appoints Dominique Boer as head of GWM private client and CSS Singapore as well as Keng Cheong Lock as head of GWM Greater China Singapore.

UBS also names Rickie Chan as head of GWM Greater China Hong Kong.

Australia, India

Michael Marr will become UBS’s new head of GWM Australia, marking a re-entry into the market after a 2015 exit.

And in India, the bank has named Puneet Matta as the wealth management head for the country. Previously, Indian clients were being advised by relationship managers primarily out of Dubai, London, and Singapore.

When contacted, a spokesperson for the bank confirmed the new appointments in the region.
