The Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (Finma) issues a warning about increasing emails related to non-existent refunds.

On Wednesday, Finma released a warning about an increasing number of emails being sent with the subject line  «Notice of Refund.»

Emails containing a notice of refund from the Swiss Financial Market Authority and sometimes referred to as an «approval» are bogus and do not exist, according to Finma.

No Such Emails

«Finma does not send any such emails,» according to the statement, and urges recipients to always check the sender addresses of the emails they receive carefully and recommends neither replying to such suspicious e-mails nor following any instructions contained in them.

It looks like these particular phishermen need to look for a new phishin' hole.
