Swiss broker Compagnie Financière Tradition (CFT) increased its profits in the first half of the year. But what to do with all that money?

Compagnie Financière Tradition (CFT), the largest independent broker in Switzerland, reported net profit attributable to shareholders increased by 8 percent to 51 million francs compared to the previous year on the back of a 12.5 percent increase in income to 513.3 million francs, the company announced Friday.

According to CFT, the business developed similarly to last year in light of the interest rate turnaround in the markets. Looking ahead to the second half of the year, the Lausanne-based company is sticking to its strategy; in doing so, CFT is still aiming for organic growth but is also considering acquisitions.
