Rothschild & Co. hires five client advisors in Zurich from Credit Suisse who start today, the firm announced yesterday.

The team specializing in clients from central and eastern Europe is led by Gerold Reiser. The market region has been overshadowed by the Ukraine war. Russia hasn't been a target market for the institute for some time.

Reiser is appointed market head of CEE effective October 1, reporting to Andreas Feller, deputy head of private banking in Zurich.

High-net-worth Clients

Four additional relationship managers join the firm, including Maciej WiackowskiMagdalena Majewska KochViktors Bolbats, and Lars Lang, all of whom have years of experience serving ultra-high-net-worth families and corporate clients in CEE markets. The team is complemented by Alberto Rigamonti as client executive and Yann Buergisser as Assistant.

Commenting on the change, Laurent Gagnebin, the firm's Wealth Management CEO, said «After successfully expanding our capabilities for Swiss domestic clients in recent months, broadening our focus to additional European markets is the natural next step. We see great potential in Central and Eastern European markets and are targeting sustainable growth there. »
