One year before competitor Lombard Odier, moves its Geneva-based employees into its newly built avant-garde headquarters, Pictet is inaugurating its own construction project in Geneva. 

Geneva-based Pictet initiated its building project Thursday, consisting of a 90-meter-high planned tower, which will extend its current headquarters, «AWP» (in French) reported.

«Campus Pictet de Rochemont» is estimated to take around two years to build after which 2,500 employees will move into the building,  the report said. Over time, the bank aims to up its current workforce of around 3,000 to 4,000 employees, the report said.

«We expect to move in in the second half of 2025,» senior partner Renaud de Planta is quoted as saying at the inauguration.

Besides 55,000 square meters of office space, the new campus will include 96 apartments, a public auditorium, shopping arcades, a restaurant as well as green spaces open to the public.

The building is designed to include both geothermal energy and solar energy and will recover heat from the wastewater network, the report added.
