Zurich-based financial boutique Zwei Wealth is taking its long-planned first step abroad by launching its offering in the UK.

Zwei Wealth has configured its platform for launch in the UK and will offer Wealth Office services in British pounds to clients and providers in the United Kingdom, according to a statement Wednesday.

The UK expansion into the UK is off to a successful start, with eleven banks and asset managers already connected, with the customer portfolio expected to grow to over 50 by year-end.

Better-Than-Expected Response

«The response from banks and asset managers in the UK is even better than expected. The wealth office platform is receiving a very positive response,» said Cyrill Moser, who's responsible for provider management. British banks and asset managers can register free of charge, enter offers, and participate in tenders to win new clients.

Germany and Asia Next?

International expansion has been on Zwei Wealth's agenda for some time. As recently as March, Patrick Mueller, the company's co-founder, and CEO, mentioned the UK and Germany as target markets in an interview with finews.tv.

London is the «place to be» due to its size as a financial center, while Germany is also interesting due to its size, but above all due to its regional structures. Should the experience be positive, expansion to Singapore is conceivable for next year, he added.
