The newly appointed manager comes from a French fund business and reports directly to the heads of the Geneva-based private bank.

Nathalie Wallace (image below) has been appointed the new chief sustainability officer at Geneva-based private bank Edmond de Rothschild (EdR), the institution announced on Tuesday.

She will be located in Paris and direct the bank's sustainability activities in conjunction with the asset management business, the announcement read.

Moving from the US

Wallace will report to Cynthia Tobiano, the deputy head of the group as well as Christophe Caspar, who is responsible for the institution's fund business.

The 53-year-old looks back on 20 years of experience in the funds business. Most of her career was spent in Boston in the US where she worked for State Street. Her last position was with French fund house Natixis Investment Managers.

Successor at Natixis

At Natixis, Laura Kaliszewski (image above) will succeed Wallace as the new head of the client sustainable investing area, as Natixis indicated in a separate announcement.
