Leon Löwentraut's art strikes a chord and polarizes — a trademark that has directed the art market's attention to this very young and emerging artist.

Born in 1998 in Kaiserslautern, Leon Löwentraut has already forged a remarkable career. His second extensive solo exhibition in collaboration with the WOS Gallery in Zurich is the latest milestone in his rapid ascent.

The vernissage takes place on February 1st at the WOS Gallery and the historic Helferei nearby. The official exhibition titled «BOLD» runs from February 2, 2024, to April 2, 2024, showcasing over 40 new works by Löwentraut.

Visitors can look forward to an impressive array of colorful paintings, profound charcoal drawings, and innovative stainless steel sculptures. Löwentraut, known for his dynamic and vibrant works, manages to bridge the gap between classical art and modern expression in his creations.

Art Meets Zeitgeist

His artworks pay homage to the energy and spirit of today, captured in vivid colors and bold strokes. Löwentraut succinctly articulates his philosophy: «Art, for me, is a dialogue between the viewer and the work, an unwritten story that lives in each painting.»

The artist will be present at the opening and engage in a conversation with Swiss TV moderator Sven Epiney (in German only) about his art and inspirations. This exhibition not only showcases Löwentraut's talent but also serves as evidence of the growing significance of young artists in today's art world.

Prices on the Rise

Exhibition visitors are invited into a world full of dynamism, vibrant colors, and artistic expression typical of Löwentraut's style. «Painting is a feeling like flying for me,» says Löwentraut.

That Löwentraut is, in the truest sense of the word, a rising star is evident in the steadily increasing prices. His works start at 8,000 francs and go up to 100,000 francs.
